Chris Landano

Chris is a patented inventor of Trakbelt360, a tool belt like no other. This was his first invention, taking over 15 years from idea to a sellable product. Along the way, he was deceived and misled by people who claimed they could help him. Some claim to be “INVENTOR FRIENDLY.” Chris being naïve and trusting of these individuals, resulting in hundreds of thousands of dollars lost, along with years of delay. During this time, Chris was able to stay laser focused and use his first responder skill set, to survive the many obstacles he faced as an independent inventor.

He not only managed to overcome all the obstacles, and keep moving forward, but he was able to manufacture his invention, get some sales and get the product into the hands of companies for a potential licensing deal. Along the way, he crossed paths with companies and individuals who promised they could help develop his idea and market it to companies who would pay big money for this type of product. All lies and fraudulent tactics to get his money. But thanks to his participation at his local New York City inventors club, which he attended monthly, Chris learned about all the necessary steps on how to bring an idea to market, and most importantly, learned from fellow inventors, very experienced with the invention industry who warned him to “BEWARE” of all the scam companies and their deceitful tactics. “I was misled and lied to mostly by individual consultants. Two of them were patent attorneys who were charging me for their mistakes I later learned. I consider myself lucky compared to all the stories I’ve heard from other inventors deceived for tens of thousands of dollars on an idea that would never make them any profits. That’s why these fraud companies charge thousands upfront.

Now Chris is very active within the invention community. He’s an inventor ambassador for the United Inventors Association. He’s also apart of their trade show committee. He’s an active member of the U.S. Inventor organization. Chris cohosts the New York City, Manhattan inventor club.

Helping people is in my blood. I was a professional rescuer in New York City for over 25 years. What led me to launch Inventor Rescue was hearing all the terrible stories of inventors being deceived for tens of thousands of dollars by fraudulent companies using the same tactics and schemes. I got tired of watching all the advertisements on TV and online that were completely false and deceiving information. Being an inventor with a professional first responder background from New York City, motivated me to try and make a difference to help new and naive independent inventors not get scammed by dishonest and misleading independent consultants and companies. Most of the time, the inventor doesn’t realize they were lied to until years after they paid for services. Because of the shame that comes with knowing they were taken advantage of, they never tell or warn others about these bad companies.

Make no mistake about it, these frauds are master manipulators who should be ABSOLUTELY ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES. Most people choose not to come forward, but some brave ones do come forward and share their experiences. The bad guys have been pushing independent inventors around for years like big BULLY’S. If we come together, we can stop the bullying and change what’s become an industry standard of deception and misleading inventors.

We are receiving complaints about companies every week. If you were a client of a company that promised the world, got your money, and delivered mediocre to no value in return, you’re not alone. Please reach out to us and tell us what happened. All information is kept 100% confidential. If you stay quiet, they win.
